Words of Wisdom

When you come to the top of a dark stairway - you must solidly believe one of two things. There is another step - or you can fly. You can do both Catherine - whichever you pick. You are Eyer strong.

My dear cousin posted this on my Facebook. It is now my new Moto!! I hope it works for y'all as well.

We are all AMAZING Women

Apples on Trees
Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy....... So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree. Share this with other women who are good apples, even those who have already been picked!
And... Men are like a fine wine. They start out as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the crap out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

Keep A Healthy Level Of Insanity!!

The following keeps me in hysterics!!!!

The Joy of Giving

In this time of joyful festivities remember those that are unemployed, underemployed, or in distress. Do something kind and thoughtful for them, just because!!

I still Believe in Miracles. Do you?

At the risk of repeating myself I feel inclined to remind us all of the importance of giving, not just receiving. For me I love the yummy feeling I get when I have done something thoughtful for someone. Remember it doesn't have to be someone you know. It can be anyone.

Great story, a young woman was in line at the checkout stand at a local grocery store. She was very cheerful and engaging with the store clerk, calling her by her name that she saw on her name tag. The clerk was surprised and pleased to be acknowledged. The gentleman behind the woman checking out took notice and was smiling. When it came time for the young woman to pay for her purchase she was having some difficulty executing her card. She politely turned around and apologized to the man behind her for taking so long. She was nervous and couldn't remember her pin number. Turns out she was using a food stamp card for the first time and wasn't sure how to proceed, the check out clerk was very kind and helped her. Some of her items were not covered on the card and she had to pay in cash. When out of nowhere the nice man behind her offered to pay for the additional amount and wished her a Happy Holiday!! Wow, what a heart warming story.

The Power of a HUG!!

This morning I realized how much power a hug and kind words can have. While I love on georgia belle and tell her how much I love her everyday and that she is my angel that god sent me from heaven, I am not getting the hugs and kind words back. Don't get me wrong she loves me muches, but it's not the same as from a human giving you a hug and loving words. Mine came from Howard a lovely man I see on my morning walks. He is an angel that god sent from heaven.

Give someone a hug and kind words today!! ♥
